“I just wanted to thank Mitch at Famous Autosports for helping me out yesterday. I had some issues with an install of an exhaust on an 08 Gallardo (which was done by a local dealership) and was never satisfied with the result. Basically, there were some strange sounds coming out and quite a bit a power loss. I approached the dealer about this and they said that everything was installed correctly and the tech who worked on my car had installed this exhaust “many” times and is completely familiar with it. So I gave Mitch a call, he was very kind to allow me to come by on a busy and very HOT Saturday afternoon to take a look at my car. We went for a ride around the block and he quickly and correctly identified the problem. When we returned to the shop, he changed a valve setting and we went out again. The car was now pulling like a freight train and no more strange noises. This guy obviously knows what he was talking about and delivered. I got to spend some time with him in the car and he was extremely knowledgeable about all things Lamborghini. I was very impressed and just wanted to pass the great experience over to you guys. Mitch identified all the problems on the vehicle and was able to get all my repairs completed before I had to turn the vehicle in. Mitch at Famous was turned on to me by a friend of mine named John Lambo. John and I were messing around on the 680 freeway in Lafayette Ca. KInda Racing and his car was shooting flames out of the exhaust (you know who was in the lead). Then we pulled off the freeway and that was when I met John her was driving an 08 orange Gallardo Coupe. His car had been backed into and was on the way to Famous the next week. He told me that Mitch was the best in the United States and that he was going to takde care of him and his car. Three months later I saw his Car and it was unreal even better than it was before it was hit he had a new bumper it looked perfect.
Two weeks after I saw his machine my car was backed into with a boat propeller, Some guy was drunk and jumped into his truck with a boat behind it and backed into my car. I called Mitch and he came and picked up my car on his birthday. I live about 500 miles from Famous. Mitch was so cool he said dont worrie about a thing I will take care of everything, I was’nt even home when he got there and he had the car on his truck by the time I got home. Talk about trust he is the man and I trusted him. Less than 3 months later my car was done, He fixed the front bumper, put on Techno Craft Exhaust (sounds unreal now and the car kicks ass) gave the car a 5000 mile tune up only made me pay for part of it (thanks mitch) took my machine to the Lambo Dealer and had them fix a warranty issue (leaky hose) threw in a new air filter and strapped on new tires.
The night I picked up the car literally 9 hours later a drunk lady at my 30 year high school reunion in Newport Beach backed into my car. You think I was a little pissed? She messed it up pretty good.
I called mitch at 11 pm on a saturday night and he was there in his truck in less than a hour. What a cool guy he said again dont worrie about it I will take care of everything and he did.
This time he put in the unreal sound system that he custom builds for Gallardo Spyders. Talk about unreal sound that stereo pumps. I love it and it far exceeded my expectations.
The car in now back at my house in Diablo Ca. Runs prefect and looks better than new cost me virtually no money. Thanks Mitch
