A spontaneous Lamborghini Run through the canyons landed Famous Autosports at the Luxe Hotel for a delicious lunch on Sunday. The impromptu meeting of supercars attracted quite a crowd on Rodeo Drive as the Lamborghini, & other supercar, owners enjoyed an afternoon of good food and good company. Mitch, driving the gray Murcielago LP640 on ADV.1 Wheels, met up with Debbie, driving her black Aventador, for a fun drive through the canyons, which ended as a gathering of auto enthusiasts in Beverly Hills! We have 2 Gallardos at the shop today getting some Famous Love! The black 2004 Gallardo has some old and brittle PCV & coolant lines, under the intake manifold that we will be replacing. As you can see in the photos below, we have the factory covers protecting the rear portion of the Lamborghini while we work on it and the intake manifold is already removed. The factory cover prevents our clients’ vehicles from suffering any possible damage caused by our technicians while doing any necessary repairs. The yellow 2006 Gallardo Spyder, that we blogged about yesterday, finally has the front bumper removed and is ready to get the facelift it has been waiting for! This 06 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder has come to us for a face lift and when it comes to supercar plastic surgery, Famous Autosports does not disappoint! We have teamed up with Tecnocraft to give this Gallardo the world’s lightest and strongest front bumper available. Tecnocraft’s dry carbon fiber bumper was engineered to provide more cooling to the front of the Gallardo, as well as incorporate a small splitter to increase downforce. One small but significant design element, added by Tecnocraft, is the side vent incorporated into the bumper. It was made so that the hot air exiting the radiators is given a higher velocity exit, increasing the radiators’ efficiency. The stock front bumper is being removed as we speak! January has been a very good month for Famous Autosports and this week is no exception!
Here is today’s lineup, a barrage of exotic supercars in need of the Famous Touch!
Firstly, We have the Orange 09 Nissan GTR in for a front bumper change and lighted GTR emblems. Stay tuned to see what new bumper this beast decides to try on!

Second up, we have a Beautiful Gray 07 Lamborghini LP640 here due to drive-ability issues.
Next, we have a black 04 Gallardo that also has some drive-ability issues. We will be checking out the check engine light and replacing the water sensor as well as some hoses.
This red 05 Ferrari F430 Spider was here earlier in the month for a clock spring and now needs front suspension.
Last but not least, the owner of this White 2012 Bentley Continental GT requested a high speed balance and alignment to improve the handling of the vehicle better than the factory settings. It’s important to keep in mind that just because a vehicle is brand new, doesn’t mean that it will be set up to your specific driving style.

This Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster originally came to us for a simple service and detail. Once we had completed our initial inspection, however, we found that it also needed an e-gear clutch. On the Murci, the motor and trans have to come out completely before the clutch can be replaced. It’s not every day you get to see a Lamborghini with the entire motor bay empty or a Lamborghini Motor with the trans separated, so please enjoy the photos below. As you can see, we installed an oem e-gear clutch to replace the old worn out one and now the vehicle is driving perfectly! All our technicians have to do now is button up the rest of the vehicle. This 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago came to us with a lot of surface scuffs and marks, as you can see in the photos below. We will be completing a full detail and polish to remove the marks from the car and give it back it’s beautiful shine! This vehicle is also scheduled for a full 15k service, including all fluids, filters & spark plugs and upon further diagnosis is ready to have the e-gear clutch replaced. The BMW 750Li bumper is back and good as new! Our paint department did an excellent job of repairing the damage to the rear bumper and color matching it to the vehicle. In fact, we have one of the best color match expert in the industry. If you’re looking to have any paint done to your vehicle, you definitely want to bring it to Famous Autosports! A long-time client of ours has a BMW 750Li that needs tires, rim repair, rear bumper repair & alignment. There is curb damage to each of the rims and all 4 tires need to be replaced, due to side-wall gashes and low tread. The rear bumper also has some blemishes that require it to be re-painted. We ordered the Pirelli Pzeros to replace the worn and damaged tires and will be mounting and balancing the tires on our in-house tire machine. The vehicle will get a 4-wheel alignment and our excellent wheel repair representative will be correcting the curb damage so the wheels look brand new again. Lastly we will have the bumper corrected and painted to match the vehicle. Stay tuned for pictures of the completed project. If you’re going to be anything, be Famous!
This 2005 Mercedes SL600 was tuned by Brabus and boasts 800 HP! When the customer brought it in for a high speed balance and alignment we found it needed a steering rack, inner and outer tie rods & alignment bolts.
